Quickly seared to perfection for that beautiful jerk char, these shrimps stay juicy, tender, and packed with authentic Caribbean flavor — perfect for bowls, tacos, salads, or straight off the skillet.

Ingredients:
- 5 to 6 tbsp Kajani Roots Jerk Seasoning Blend
- 1 cup Oil (olive oil or vegetable oil)
- 1 lb. Raw Shrimp (Clean, peeled & deveined, tail on or off)
- 1 Frying Pan / Skillet
- (Optional) Kajani Roots Sweet Tropical Sauce
Directions:
- Prep, rinse, and pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel
- In a mixing bowl, add shrimp and 1/4 cup oil
- Add the Kajani Roots Jerk Seasoning Blend to the shrimp
- Mix thoroughly- Toss shrimp until fully coated in seasoning and oil
- Heat the skillet or frying pan on medium to high heat for about 1 minute
- Add oil to the skillet
- Pour in the remaining cup of oil, spreading it evenly across the pan
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on the first side until lightly charred
- Flip and finish cooking on the other side for about 1 minute (Shrimp should reach an internal temperature of 145°F).
- Optional: add a touch of Kajani Roots Sweet Tropical Sauce for dipping.
